Between Camps

(Syracuse NY)
For a week I stayed in the yards of several different family members in the greater Syracuse area. One took me out for some really great pizza (one of my favorite foods). Another provided an electric hook-up, and a delicious fish fry. And yet another cousin took me out for Chinese buffet, to a beautiful lake front park, and a tour of the Auburn Bass Pro store; an impressive retail outlet for sportsmen. She is a photographer and her husband is a gunsmith, and he also creates amazing flies for fishermen.

During a break in the festivities, I took my MacBook Pro laptop into the Apple store to have the battery replaced. They were very efficient and had it done in no time. No charge as it was only two years old, and should not have failed.

My next camp was to be Letchworth State Park near Perry NY. However, because of a late start I didn’t make it before dark. So, I stopped for re-supply at a Walmart, and stayed overnight. The park would have to wait for the next day.

Just think of all you are doing now that you aren’t held back by property ownership. My day will come and until then, out to mow my lawn LOL
