Bryce Canyon Overlooks

(Bryce Canyon City UT)
Another way to see Bryce Canyon National Park was taking the 15 mile Scenic Drive to several overlooks. These were views into smaller canyons, but with equally beautiful rock formations.

I drove to the far end of the road, and worked my way back toward the entrance. So, photos appear in the reverse of what shows for overlooks on the park map.

I was able to drive my rig Tardis, thus being able to linger at the viewpoints when I wanted. That was convenient, as I could move to the next overlook at my own pace.

While there were plenty of hoodoos at these stops, I tried to capture the features that were different than what was found in the Amphitheatre area. The variety was amazing.

There was much more to do besides viewing the canyons. So, another visit is a possibility. For a rock formation lover, like myself, Bryce Canyon was a must see destination.
