Beaver Creek was not my first choice for a campground. However, it turned out to be pretty nice; including a cascading creek, cliffs, and tall pines. The other one had no spots where I could get level.
After settling in, I went looking for the creek. A trail led down a hill and to the edge of the water. The more I followed the shore, the better I liked the views. There was a good variety of features.
There were small cascades in the creek, fallen trees and logs, rugged cliffs, and plenty of rocks and boulders. And, it wasn’t a long hike to see all of those. More than enough interest to get some good photos.
The weather was beautiful, and the camp was only a few miles from town. Resupply of groceries, gas, propane, and dumping waste tanks was on my to do list.
