Triangle L Ranch

(nr Oracle AZ)
I heard about the Triangle L Ranch with its quirky sculpture art and decided to check it out. It was a short way off the highway, and fairly easy to find. Apparently, no one was home at the time of my visit.

There was a small gallery in a barn with a few paintings. But, the featured pieces were scattered along several trails in the surrounding hills. They were creative assemblages of found objects, and a few made from plaster, clay, cut metal, glass or other materials.

Pieces Suspended from Tree

Some were designed to sway in the wind, hang from trees, had lights incorporated into the design, or to blend into the landscape. There were a great variety of imaginative pieces.

Gazebo Made with Bottles
Macabre Masks

I didn’t explore all the trails, so missed some of the sculptures. Nevertheless, it was an interesting place with lots of funky art to see.

What a fun place to visit! I liked the sculptures. The bottle gazebo looked like corn (I didn’t have my glasses on) and looked like what we’d see in an old school corn crib in Iowa. I like the variety and creativity of the pieces. Thanks for sharing these cool photos!
