Bridal Veil Falls

(nr Orem UT)
Went to see Bridal Veil Falls, which was right next to the highway. It was a popular place, and finding a parking space for Tardis was tricky; even though there were three lots.

Bridal Veil Falls

I took the paved trail of 1.4mi round trip to the base of the falls, and came back on a gravel path along the river. It was a nice 607ft double drop waterfall which flowed into the Provo River.

Folks were climbing to the base and getting wet from the splash. A picnic area by the river had many enjoying the location. The falls flow year round, and during the winter some climb the icy slope.

Huge Cliff

Upon leaving, I noticed a huge cliff nearby. Afterward, I went to lunch in town and then headed into the mountains to find a camp.

But, you just did a long haul! I suspect you won’t be going anywhere for awhile. 🙂
