Daddy Canyon Hike

(nr Myton UT)
Daddy Canyon was a side canyon within Nine Mile Canyon. It was reported to be an easy hike with petroglyphs along the way. Of course, I had to go find them.

It was a picturesque trail with steep cliffs on both sides, plenty of rocks, and a sandy wash in the middle. Wish I had taken more photos of the trail which showed its character. When I reached a narrow part with huge boulders, I gave up and went back.

More Cliffs

It turned out that I made a wrong turn near the start; thus bypassing the rock art. They were found on my return and shown in the Rock Art post. It was a nice hike anyway.

Surely that is the first time you have taken a wrong branch of a trail. I thought I had used up all the wrong turns available in my hiking history. I liked your pics and report. Thank you.
