(Various NM & CO)
My fiancée (now my wife) Mary and I went on a five day trip to several places in New Mexico and Colorado. Here are some photos from that excursion.
We did mostly boondock camping, and visited a few interesting spots. While going up the mountains in the Carson National Forest, I stopped at a pullout to get a photo of the expansive view at about 10,000 feet elevation.
On one of our walks, we came upon a deer grazing in a field. And, while driving away from another hike a storm approached; we left just in time to miss the deluge.
There was a small yet picturesque waterfall close to our campsite in Colorado. And at a different camp, after a short hike near Hopewell Lake, Mary posed by a small pond. We had a fun time and got to see some really pretty places.
