Staying Close to Home Base
Spent most of my time just rotating between camps nearby. The weather remained warm for longer than usual, until the end of the October. Still, it was pleasant enough to not need the higher elevations of the mountains.

Hiked from my camp into Willow Canyon, had my annual checkup at the VA Clinic, found some CCC Camp Ruins, and experienced an Early Snow during the last week of October.
Went to visit a friend in San Antonio and we spent some time at Bosque del Apache NWR. Had an eye exam to see if new glasses were needed. Otherwise, it was mostly rotating between boondocking camps.
A friend came to visit during the holiday period. But, there were no festivities. And so, the year ended quietly.
