New Mexico and Old Mexico
Mostly moved around New Mexico, with a lot of just hanging out and seeing RV friends who Winter in the area. But also, spent a week south of the border in Old Mexico seeing new sights.
New Mexico
Spent time in my usual winter haunts, worked on some more updates for Tardis, visited my friend in Las Cruces and saw a couple of movies.
Mexico
Then across the border, my friend and I went on the Copper Canyon Tour offered by The Pink Store out of Puerto Palomas MX. It took us across the states of Chihuahua and Sinaloa stopping at some really interesting places. We got to see the Mennonite Museum, the mountain village of Creel, and the Tarahumara natives.
We saw the amazing Copper Canyon where we took a suspended Gondola Ride over a ravine, and a hike along the Rim Trail. Then rode the Chepe Express train across the Sierra Madres with impressive views. Also, spent time in the colonial city of El Fuerte where we took a Walk About, a River Raft float, and saw the birthplace of Zorro. For my birthday, we went to a seaside village and the beach on the Sea of Cortes.
New Mexico
Back and forth to my usual camps, a dental appointment, and visits with friends filled the month of February for me.
Again, moving around to my usual camps in March. A couple of visits to the VA Clinic, visiting friends, Río Grande Biking, Organ Mountains Poppies, and a hike on Pine Tree Trail rounded out my activities.
