Attended the Blog Fest organized by a couple of enterprising traveling bloggers. It was an opportunity to meet others with an online journal; and, to put a face to the words. There were about 50 people there which I thought was a pretty good turnout.
Here are a few of the blogs that were represented. I’m sure there were many more, and some will have a more complete list with their post of the event. Click on the blog name to read their version of the gathering.

It was a kick getting to talk with all those folks I’ve been reading for so long. Decided to stay overnight with the SKP Classless Class that was camped behind the meeting place. Another blogger I knew was there, and we sat around the campfire to visit.

The blog gest sounds like it was a lot of fun. It’s always nice to meet someone whose blog you’ve been reading for a while.
Yes, it was great fun. However, there really wasn’t enough time to meet everyone. Perhaps another time.
Thanks for letting me know about this, David. It was a great opportunity to meet others and to see you again too. We’re on some BLM on the California side of the river, just west of Parker that wasn’t in my guides but will be now. It’s better than I rememberered it. Will likely head to Mittry lake by early next week. If you’re still around, we may meet up. Hope so.
Glad you enjoyed it Marianne. It was a hoot getting to meet so many bloggers. I look forward to meeting you on the road again.
It was very nice to meet you there. Have just added your blog to our side bar. 🙂
Thank you! It was fun, wasn’t it? Appreciate you adding my blog to your list.
