(Lake Roberts NM)
On another outing, my girlfriend and I took a walk around Lake Roberts in the Gila Mountains. It’s a medium sized lake which was calm on that day.

This lake is popular with fishermen casting from the shore, from the small pier provided, or in boats.

There are two campgrounds by the lake, and a picnic area. Also, another campground is just a few miles away.

The trail follows the shoreline passing a few rock outcroppings, plus some reeds and cattails by the water. The weather was a bit warm, but the walk was still pleasant.
