A Plan Comes Together

(Jacksonville FL)
Tomorrow morning I take a plane flight from here to the southwest to look at a motorhome. I will take a day or two to check it out thoroughly. Preliminary research shows it is likely to pass my inspection easily.

It has all the makings of the perfect rig for my Plein Air Journey. It is the brand, model, size, floor plan, and age I’ve been searching a year to find. (Do you remember me posting about it in 2011?) I’m excited, but have to keep my emotions under control until everything proves out.

Expecting to drive about 400 miles per day for a quick road trip. I would have preferred a much more leisurely meander. Unfortunate, but necessary in order to be back in time for the closing on my house sale. It’s hard to believe the timing is perfect for the transition from house to RV.

I will be blogging about the RV and the return trip, so stay tuned for details and pictures. Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together?!

Camp: Home in the sticks-n-bricks
Scene: Residential neighborhood
