(Las Cruces NM)
While in Las Cruces, I strolled around downtown along Main Street to see what I could find. And what appeared, was COASBooks; a huge used bookstore with multiple rooms of books, aisle after aisle. What a find!
I just love searching the seemingly endless shelves looking for bargains. Of course being in an RV limits how many books I can haul around. I keep about a dozen art and reference books on hand. All other reading is done on my iPad via eBook versions.
Plenty of music on CDs, and even vinyl records. Lots of movies and videos on DVDs too. Also, a childrens’ room. Sections were well labelled, but there were also helpers to aid in locating topics. Chairs were provided to peruse the treasures. Prices were 1/2 marked, or 1/4 marked with a trade-in. The large, busy checkout desk showed it was a popular place.
Later that night I went further west to Deming to camp at the state park by the Little Florida Mountains. Again, it was a free spot with my Annual Camping Pass. Gotta love it!
