This was my second visit to The Q. It was on the way to where I was headed. So, I decided to camp with some Lazy Daze owners that were gathered there. Got to see some folks I hadn’t seen for a while, and enjoyed the evening campfire socials.
Also, I met-up with a couple of RVers I had been corresponding with; we got to know each other over pizza at Silly Al’s in town. One of them does some painting, and the other is a weaver. A singles RV group was camping on the outskirts of The Q, so I got to learn about the WINS.
On my last day there, I attended the annual Blogger Fest. Many folks that blog while traveling came together to meet each other, talk about their motivations and experiences, and to share ideas. I got to meet a few that I’ve been reading for years.
It was a pleasant stay. After my last visit to The Q I told myself once was enough. Now, I have to say twice is plenty.

Sounds like fun, Pleinguy. Is the weather there pretty comfortable at this time?
Yes Brad. Mid 70s for highs, and down to low 40s Overnight. Mostly sunny, and pleasant.
Sounds like a a great visit hanging out with the other RVers and discovering some paint and weave. The sunset photos are amazing. See why you love the Southwest!
Yes; it turned out better than I had expected.
I say that every year, and then it gets time to go to Q, and I can’t wait. It’s a lot about seeing friends that you haven’t seen in awhile. We were getting low on water and left before the Bloggerfest.
I’m a bit averse to crowds; so, the Q doesn’t appeal. Only time will tell if I go again.
