We the People was a city park with several different sculptures. The main feature was a semi-circle wall made of steel, in which was cut the silhouettes of various people. Those from all walks were depicted; like miners, cowboys, children, hunters, natives, etc.
Within the circle were other pieces, and places to rest. A walkway meandered around the park passing other sculptures and features. Along the way were a couple of sculptures that showed miners at work.
One whimsical piece was called “Rock Concert” with a crowd of big rocks facing the Star at one end. What a hoot! It was interesting walking through to see all the sculptures..
After a time, I went looking for some murals scattered around town. The place that gave out maps to find them was closed. So, I drove around without any luck in finding them.
