(nr Organ NM)
It was Springtime in the Organ Mountains when passing through for another activity. The weather was pleasant, and the scenery dramatic. Along the side of the road, there were large swaths of colorful flowers.
They turned out to be mountain poppies. The color mass with the mountain peaks behind made for a pretty view. Had to stop to get some photos of the beautiful array.
Several others had the same idea; so, finding a place to pull to the side of the narrow road was tricky. Such a wonderful sight was worth the effort.
Camp: BLM-Rock Canyon Road boondock
Scene: Flowers, mountains
I’m pretty sure they’re Mexican poppies, from the investigating I did
Nor sure, as they seem to have qualities of both.
Those poppies are beautiful.
Yes they are; I really enjoyed finding them during the outing.
Beautiful sights and very nice pictures. Thanks for sharing. I’m curious (as we were contemplating another RV adventure this summer), how are things going in the RV world during this time of lockdown? What sort of issues are you running into, etc.
We can e-mail on the topic if that is more appropriate. I went on the LD site, but didn’t see as much discussion as I expected.
Thanks in advance for any sense of things out there.
Thanks for the comment Steven. I sent you an eMail about your questions. Hope things get better soon for everyone.
