Sunsets Again

(New Mexico)
There has not been much activity of interest lately, so here are some more sunset photos taken during my travels in New Mexico over time. Different years and locations were chosen.

Sunsets Again – From the Río Grande

Although red is pretty common in sunsets, I noticed many other interesting colors like purples, yellows, and grays in the skies. Usually the landscape is mostly blackish; but looking closely, other muted colors could be found.

Trees at Pancho Villa State Park

I selected those with quite different cloud formations and landscape elements. Rock formations, shrubbery, cacti, trees, and mountains are some of the shapes that frame the scenery. Variety is always nice.

Sunsets are not always so dramatic. But, when they are it’s something special to behold. Hope you enjoyed seeing them.

Yes, I always enjoy a sunset or sunrise photo. I understand that New Mexico State parks are opening up soon for all visitors so maybe more sunset photos are something to look forward to. Thanks!

NM State Parks are now open for all to camp. But, at hookup sites by reservation only via Reserve America. Actual sites available varies by park, so one needs to contact them first before making a reservation. Most will not have first come sites or drycamping yet.
