(nr Arrey NM)
As the light was waning, I decided to take my usual evening walk and was rewarded with some nice views and a little wildlife. Checking out the water level in the river, I noticed reflections of the cliffs on the calm surface.
Further observation showed how the setting sun was throwing a warm glow upon the trees and cliffs. It struck me as particularly attractive. And, the ruggedness of the rocks stood out.
Twice along the way, three deer crossed my path. But, only the youngest stopped to pose for me. The ma and pa cautiously retreated into the tall brush. I guess they were trying to reach the river for a drink.
Across the river and beyond rose the Caballo Mountains. While overhead, a formation of geese loudly soared their way toward a place to bed down for the night. And then, I arrived back at my own nesting spot; the cozy RV Tardis.

Hi, Pleinguy. I always like your photos. The late fall lighting in this group is attractive.

Glad you liked the pix Chris. Appreciate the comments.
Lovely pictures. I especially liked the river reflection. Beautiful time of day, to be sure!
We’ll head out on another Thistle Dew Too adventure later next week, heading back from NH to NV. Ours will be a quicker run than usual, but hopefully enjoyable just the same.
Thanks for sharing what you are enjoying. Wishing you all the best.
Thanks for the well wishes Steven. Hope you have a safe and pleasant trip across the country.
