(Various Places)
Another slow time for activities, so I’ll share some photos of snow scenes during my travels over the years. Taken in different places, yet all pretty in they’re own way.
The Ruby Mountains of Nevada were spectacular at the end of May when I visited. Soaring snow capped peaks, waterfalls, roaring creeks, and interesting rock formations; those are hard to beat.
The Riverside area of Caballo Lake State Park got a light dusting of snow right around Christmas. In mid-June, Mount Hood was still covered in a white mantle. Set off by a deep blue sky it was amazing.
Earlier in May, at Crater Lake, there were piles of snow still covering the landscape. I had fled snow in the mountains to hunker down at Cochiti Lake, only to be covered in the white stuff overnight; at the end of April. Looking at a snow covered landscape is wonderful.

Thanks for the nice scenery. I am hoping to be healed and out of Rockport in about two weeks. You inspire me to move on.
Glad to hear you are getting better. I’m looking forward to your upcoming move.
