(Elephant Butte NM)
I’m now in the last few weeks of the season before heading out on my Spring and Summer excursion through Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. These views are from my camp overlooking one of the three marinas at Elephant Butte Lake State Park.
Preparations are well underway to ensure a trouble free journey. Annual checkup at the VA Clinic, rig maintenance, supplies, laundry, and continued tweaking of the itinerary are being completed. The visit by a fellow full time traveler friend has been a nice surprise.
It’s been another pleasant Fall and Winter in New Mexico. However, I’m getting more eager to roll each passing day. After two years of laying low, I’m happy to be heading out on the journey again.

That Hitch Itch gets really strong doesn’t it.
It surely does.
The price of gas going to cut back on travels.
I have taken gas prices into consideration for my summer trip, and think they will be manageable.
