(New Mexico)
My girlfriend and I went on several drives to explore in southern New Mexico. Thought I’d share photos of some places we recently visited in the area.
A trip to one of my favorite places in the Organ Mountains to hike produced magnificent views, as usual. Rugged peaks, massive rocks, and expansive vistas abound.
The trail seemed more difficult and steep than in the past. But, I realized that it’s just my age that is different. A rather large lizard crossed the trail, and posed for this photo. Percha Creek flows past the property I was checking out as a possible home base.
This season there has been more rain than normal. Hence, the lakes and rivers are fuller than usual. The Río Grande is now more full than I’ve seen before.
Camp: Various

Beautiful scenery young man. Thank you.
You’re very welcome. Glad you liked the pix.
