(White Rock NM)
Overlook Point was on a mesa with a view of the Río Grande. It was in a park at the end of a paved drive, that passed a ball field, picnic shelters, and the trailhead for Blue Dot trail. I think that went down the side of the mesa toward the river.
There were some expansive views of the river and mountains to the east. Also, to one side, was a canyon where a small waterfall plunged off the edge. I expect that, in the springtime, the waterflow would have been more impressive. Still, it was a nice find.
It was just a short stop, to check it out, before heading to my camp in the forest of the Jémez Mountains. And, boy was it a nice spot amongst tall pines and welcoming deer.

Once again; thanks for taking me to another nice area.
This one was easy. Just drive in, look, and leave. No hiking needed.
