Another night of free music; this time on the plaza in Mesilla. A local group called UnLyshed performed latin, country and rock pieces. They played all styles quite well.
Many people were dancing and having a good time in the warm evening air. The crowded dance floor was after dark, so I didn’t get a good photo.
Around the plaza were shops and galleries including El Patio in an adobe built in the mid-1800s. On the north side of the park was the Basilica of San Albino which was one of the first buildings in town.
Once again, it was an enjoyable evening listening to music and strolling around this historic town.
