(nr Creede CO)
A foot path from the north falls led over a hill to a view of Clear Creek Canyon. The creek seen in a deep ravine with tall cliffs and impressive rocks. The hills and distant mountains added to the beauty.
The far side was little more than rubble. While rock pillars remained nearby where the cliff had fallen away. A rock slab by the edge provided a secure spot to observe the scene.
Closer to the falls was an area of rock pieces which could be traversed if being careful about the crevices between them. Keeping one eye on your feet, and the other on the drop-off edge was critical.
And, along the path were found some pretty wildflowers. The walk was a pleasant aside from the waterfall.
