Went to see the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino run by the Mescalero Apache. Located in the White Mountains with forests, trails, and a lake. With some of the surrounding peaks reaching over 11,000ft, it was a truly a beautiful setting.
Plenty to do there like sailing on the lake, trails to hike, golfing, concerts to attend, gaming at the casino, several restaurants with differing menus and prices, and of course resting in the hotel.
I especially liked the abundant native art of sculptures, paintings, pottery, weaving, and artifacts. The building itself was interesting with a patio having a cascading waterfall and views of the lake and surrounding landscape.
I went just to check it out; but, it looked like a great destination for having a relaxing time and fun activities.

Looks like a great place to spend some quality enjoyment time!
looks like fun!
Could be, if you like those activities.
Hi Pleinguy! I enjoy going to casinos to gamble very small amounts and drink the free Diet Coke. Of course, there’s a reason they have all the beautiful decorations – the gamblers pay for them, of course. 🙂 But it’s sure fun to play in moderation.
This one sure had the prettiest native art. It looks like quite a beautiful and relaxing place! Take care! — VT
I’m sure you would enjoy this place. Thanks for checking in Brad.
