(Williamsburg NM)
As usual when I’m camped, I take walks around the area. This time it was along the Río Grande. There were beautiful views strolling next to the river.
The river was full, and the distant mountains provided a nice backdrop. It was somewhat difficult to get the shots because of the dense vegetation by the riverbank.
All the trees were covered with spring growth. Mesquite, cottonwood, and other types were abundant in this moist area. I really liked the shadows being created by the sunny day.
The perfect weather made it easy to hike along the river several times during the day; very relaxing and enjoyable.

See anyone sneaking across the river?
Not sure what you mean. The Río Grande flows north to south across the central part of New Mexico. No sneaking needed to cross the river. Perhaps you are thinking of Texas where the river forms a border with Mexico.
Wow. It’s been quite a while since I caught up with you, my friend. You’ve been at it what, nearly seven years now? All that time on the road? You have truly followed the dream. I’m going to go back and do some catching up with your travels, but wanted to say hello. ~RP
Thanks for checking in Ralph. Yes it’s been seven adventurous years on the road, and still going. Hope you continue to enjoy reading about the journey. Best to you.
