Another stop going up the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway was at Middle Falls on the Provo River. They were close to the road with a small pullout.

The falls were actually just short cascades; but, were pretty good anyway. It was late in May, so the water was flowing swiftly.

I liked the variety of rocks creating different shapes and sizes to the falling waters. And, the pine trees growing so close to the stream provided a nice contrast.

Nearby were patches of snow which reminded me of the season. This was an easy stop with an interesting view of the tumbling waters.

Another wonderful report of a great place to visit, paint and photograph. Thanks again,
Thanks for reading Barney. Hope you’re eyes improve.
Loved the cascading water…yes…it would make a beautiful painting. I always enjoy the sounds of a mountain stream…so relaxing.
Agreed. There’s something enchanting about a cascading stream.
